Project List

The above link will take you to the list of projects Catonsville Knits is offering for their beginner classes.

Class Fee $20.00
Materials cost depends on the project you'd like to make.
ALL projects are suitable for beginners and includes all items necessary. (No running out for something "extra")

If you would like to get your class free, invite your friends, and $5.00 per friend (up to $20.00) will be taken off your fee.

Classes are held in your home, coffee shop, place of worship, you set it up, and I'll be there!!!

Catonsville Knits Announces Launch of Knitting Instructor Business

A rebirth in knitting has propelled the category from $450 million in 1995 to over $1 billion today. Women from all walks of life are getting together with other women to participate in sessions that are part creative, part social, and always a lot of fun! The interest in learning to knit is at an all-time high, driving demand for qualified Instructors to share techniques and their love of the craft.

Heather Krakat of Catonsville will be offering knitting instruction to anyone that has a desire to learn.

  • On Going Classes.
    • Two types of classes:
      • Regular classes
        • Learn to knit with all inclusive kits. Our first class will be a small blanket
      • Fundraising classes
        • I will donate 50% of the tuition for the class to the charity of your choice.
        • These are taught just like the regular classes with the kits as well.
  • All class sizes are small. I won't have more than 4-5 people at a time. This will guarantee individual attention for everyone!!
  • Host benefits!!!!!
    • If you host a knitting class, for every person you bring to the class, and stays throughout the class, I will deduct $5.00 from YOUR tuition!!! (up to $20.00)
